It's not often I'm found in a maxi skirt, but with the beautiful weather this week I couldn't resist wearing one since they're just perfect for work. Just this week I've already worn the only two skirts I own; a gorgeous bright pink one, and this amazing leopard print one, both from Primark.
I love the details in this skirt. It's absolutely gorgeous. The pleats, the print, and the way it moves when I walk too... It makes me feel elegant! Just for this post I wore it with my chunky tan wedges, but I did initially wear it with simple sandals for work. A gorgeous statement necklace to finish the look off and I was ready for the day. I'm sure I'll be wearing this skirt a lot more this summer. Maybe I need more maxi skirts too... They're great!

I find styling this skirt a little difficult at times. Alone it's a statement piece with the big bold leopard print, and it's voluminous pleated top chiffon layer. It's beautiful to wear, but I can't think of anything that isn't black to wear with it. That said, I dared to try my khaki bodysuit with it this time and I think it works well together for a darker summer look. Is that even a thing?

OMG Cat! This style suits you down to a T! I love how you've styled it! I love leopard print against khaki, it's one of my favourite combinations as wells as with burgundy, especially during the winter months. Love this for a twist on a dark toned outfit for summer!
