What Cat Wore | Chequered Dress

 

I've always been a fan of the checked shirts and dresses. I used to wear chequered shirts all the time in my teens but since I started work, it doesn't happen as much. I love going back to it though when I want to wear something casual and comfortable. They're such an easy and casual print to wear and even better in this cute shirt dress from Sammydress!

Like my previous What Cat Wore post, this is another one of the things Sammydress kindly gifted me as part of a review. When picking my favourite things from their website, this was my favourite of all the dresses at the time. They've got such an amazing selection, but I wanted to pick something that would be wearable with autumn due around the corner.

 

 

With the weather being so warm now, I'm not going to be wearing this dress right now because it's too hot for it. But when the temperature drops and I'm looking for something comfortable, casual and stylish - this will be my first pick, simply because it's that high quality thick shirt material. It's really warm and I can imagine I'll be wearing it a lot this autumn and winter.

When styling this, I loved putting my newest tan boots with it and I can imagine it'll look great with either of my Timberland Boots too. I can also imagine wearing this with a pair of jeans and a simple tee underneath for a super casual and easy to wear look too! Maybe I'll style that up and upload it when it gets cooler?
